The Squirrel

Eurasian squirrels are found throughout most of Europe and much of Asia.<br>Squirrels are most active during the night. Their diet consists mainly of nuts and seeds, more rarely insects, eggs, nestlings or other small animals.<br><br>Skilled climbers, they live in trees and only come down to feed. They usually build a spherical nest (hood) made of twigs and leaves in the fork of a branch or in the hollow of a tree.
